A Private Riverfront Escape in Red River

This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom historic home, built in the 1930’s, has that unique Red River charm! The Elkhorn has been completely updated, while carefully retaining all interior hand carved woodwork and trim.

Relax on the spacious deck on the south side of the home, overlooking the mountain and river. It’s just a short walk to the river and to the Copper Chairlift. The living room is equipped with a 60″ flat screen TV, Blu Ray player and sound system.

There is one king bedroom, one queen bedroom, and two twins in the third bedroom. Each bedroom has a flat screen TV and Blu Ray player, a small closet and a dresser.

The fully equipped kitchen includes a stove/oven, a standard coffee maker and a Keurig, a microwave, toaster, full size refrigerator/freezer and a dishwasher. It is stocked with basic cookware, dishes, flatware and serving utensils.

There is also a washer and dryer in the cabin. Guests will also have access to the amenities provided at the Copper King Lodge, including the hot tub.

What to Know Before You Book

The Elkhorn has its own unique charm—and a few housekeeping notes to go along with it. Here are a few things you’ll want to keep in mind before you reserve your dates:

Booking Requirements

  • A deposit of 1/2 of the amount of your total stay is required and must be received within 24 hours after making your reservation if paying by credit card. If paying the deposit by check, it must be received within 7 days after making your reservation.

  • This deposit confirms reservations for the stated number of days and for the total number of guests that will be staying in your unit. The balance for the full reservation period is due one month prior to arrival. Reservations for the period between December 15th and January 7th are due in full by November 1st. Reservations for Spring Break are due in full by February 1st.

  • Booking early is recommended for peak seasons and holidays

  • Maximum occupancy of 6 guests
  • Quiet hours observed after 9:00 PM

  • Our policy is the same as most resort areas. Cancellations received are refunded less 20% ONLY if the space is re-rented for the full reservation period. YOU are responsible for the date and for the number of persons reserved. No refunds for early check-outs.
